Product Info:
The present album contains the recording of eight versatile and varied pieces of different stripes. The pianist's own compositions with a deeply felt concept all show beautiful colors and a touch of rhythm and sonorous power (Badische Zeitung)

In their interesting arrangements they develop an appealing melody, aesthetics and poetry. With the quartet presented, the ideal formation was found to implement musical ideas creatively and expressively and to bring them together to create a well-rounded and harmonious sound experience.

The themes of the pieces reflect a process in flux, an open movement (Going for a Walk), transformation, change (A Transformation Begins), contain sensitivities and states from lively to cheerful moods (Flow of Spirits, Waking Up), which in a contemplative and meditative attitude can be associated with moments of nature. The image of the clouds passing in the sky (Moving Clouds) is light and flowing, inviting the listener to follow the flow of their inner thoughts and reflections.

Being in Bloom means the being in bloom of a person or living being who, regardless of their age, has found themselves, their full beauty, a beauty that is rooted in the depths of existence behind the external appearance. Tempered Blues expresses a well-tempered use of the instruments in a relaxed groove and interesting harmonization, while Choral for my Son contains a personal dedication with its echo of gospel.
