A balancing act between two styles «“ Jazz meets Pop. Well-known pop numbers were reworked and adapted to the jazz world. The harmony, rhythm and form had to be broken up, changed and arranged to create more space for the extended improvisations. The end result is melodic jazz with soloists worth listening to. Two compositions by Jürgen Hagenlocher can also be heard on the CD.
